Senior Section Day
Senior Section members and Guides 13 years upwards were invited to attend
a Senior Section Day on Sunday 14th June 2009.
The theme of the day was to highlight the “Look Wider” octants and to show how activities can cross over into other areas of the Senior Section and what opportunities are available for developing skills.
The young ladies took part in the following workshops:-
Fit for life – Foot Spa and Nail painting |

23 girls and 12 adult leaders attended and
a “Fab day” was had by all.
An evaluation of the day was completed and the following interest was expressed:-
- 10 girls in the Duke of Edinburgh Award
- 7 girls in becoming Young Leaders
- 3 girls in becoming In4mers
- 4 girls in the Queens Guide Award
- and all 13 Guides are interested in joining the Senior Section
