WYW Guiders Dine in Style

On Friday 18th April 2008 West Yorkshire West Guiders discarded their familiar blue ‘guiding wear’ and donned their glad rags!

They enjoyed an evening of sumptuous food and even better company at The Halifax Golf Club, Ogden, Halifax.

It proved to be a momentous evening for Dawn – less than 36 hours later she was the proud ‘New Mum’ to a beautiful baby boy – Harry!

The Menu Included:-

Fresh Salmon & Prawns
Beef Stephado
Spanish chicken
Mushroom Stroganoff
Salads, New potatoes, Rice
Raspberry Pavlova, Chocolate Gateau,
Fresh Fruit
Cheese & Biscuits

Thanks were extended to the stewards Tony & June and their staff who looked after us all extremely well.

A raffle was organised by Helen Farman which as usual proved very popular.

All proceeds from the evening were for the WYW Centenary Celebration Fund.
