Brown Owl's Big 40th Party!
Brown Owl’s 40th Birthday started off
with a bang!
(This is what we did at our special Brownie meeting on 20.01.2009)
The Brownies had to collect items to make a birthday cake.
The Brownies had to roll a dice and get a six or a three to collect these items:
plate, cake, icing, sweets, candles

After the Brownies finished decorating their cakes they all had a look at each others and they were great!
Next Snowy Owl lit one of the cakes and the Brownies sang ‘Happy Birthday’.
Next the Brownies played ‘corners’. First we had to dance around Brown Owl and when we finished singing ‘Happy Birthday’ we had to go and walk to a corner, there was: Balloons, Disco, 40th Birthday, Birthday badges.
Then Brown Owl had to pick a card out and if she picked your card you were out - Lucy Appleyard was the last person left in the game.
Finally we looked at some photos of Brown Owl when she was a girl and a young adult and a Mum.
Brown Owl had a great night!
