On Monday 7th June 1st Sowerby Bridge Brownies were the first group

to go on one of our special WYW Centenary evening cruises

on our very own narrowboat 'Spirit of Guiding' .

They cruised from Sowerby Bridge Wharf to Salterhebble and back.

They enjoyed exploring the boat .. the bunks, the beds, the galley

and (of course) the toilets!

They learnt about water safety, ate jam sandwiches

and had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
