Availability & Hire Charges
The 'Spirit of Guiding' can be hired by members of the Scout & Guide Associations - the person in charge must hold a current Skippers Licence.
The cruising season is between April & October. Please contact the Bookings Secretary, Janet Jowett (tel 01422 833010), to check availability.

Each Booking requires a deposit of £60, together with a separate damage retainer cheque of £40 (returnable on a satisfactory final inspectionof the narrowboat). These are payable within FOURTEEN DAYS of booking.
WEEKEND TRIPS
Sowerby Bridge to Brighouse & return. Note - if you wish to go further a river licence MUST be held.
Sowerby Bridge to Todmorden & return - passing through Tuel Lane Lock, which is one of the deepest locks in Britain. This lock is manned & passage MUST be arranged with the lock-keeper.
