We like flowers ... and we always have!

Girlguiding has always had a passion for all things floral, over the decades

girls have been able to gain their Gardener and Florist badge

and many Guide patrol emblems have been flowers.

  

To gain our WYW Centenary Floral badge a member has to do the following:-

Ideas

1.

Take part in making a Floral Display or Gift

 

At any time between 5.09.2009 and 20.10.2010

With either:-

  • Fresh cut flowers
  • Dried or silk flowers
  • Plants or flowers that will grow
  • Flowers made out of any materials

Include at least one of the following:-

  • Raspberry Pink, Girlguiding Blue, Centenary Gold
  • A guiding image/logo/theme
  • Centenary ‘100’ logo

Your display/gift could be:-

  • For your school
  • For your church
  • For your community
  • For your Mum or Gran
  • For a show e.g. agricultural
  • To raise funds for a charity

Why not invite the Trefoil Guild, a florist, gardening club to help you?

Tell us about your Floral Display or Gift

 

Either:-

  • Write about it
  • Draw it
  • Take a photograph of you/your friends, relatives with it
  • Tell us what did you like the most?

Send it to WYW

.. so that we can record what we have all been doing
