We've always enjoyed Adventure ... and we always will!

Girlguiding has always encouraged girls & adults to try new Adventurous activities and we are hoping that during the Centenary year we all do something that is special and creates that unique memory!

To gain our WYW Centenary Adventure badge a member has to do the following:-

Clause

1. Experience a special Centenary Adventure

Perhaps at a special location – or even in your unit meeting place?

Tell us about your memorable

Centenary Adventure

Either:-

Write about it
Draw it
Take a photograph of you/your friends doing it

Tell us:-

What made it special?
What did you enjoy the most?

Send it to WYW

.. so that we can record what we have all been doing

Take it further?

Mount a display of work in your meeting place or a library etc?

Find out a little about Guiding Adventures of the past

- they could be decades ago or quite recently

For example why not:-

Talk to your Mum or Gran or Sister or Aunt (or Guider) about their Guiding memories
Read some old guiding books
Search the internet

This clause should be simple not arduous – it is included to encourage girls to not only find out a little history but also hoping that by talking to someone they might re-kindle a fond Guiding memory

& perhaps recruit a volunteer?
