 Sowerby Trefoil Guild ... support Asthma UK |
Our Guild discussed the various projects available and then took a democratic vote to choose our preferred project. We chose Asthma UK because we particularly wanted to learn about and fund raise for a project in this country.
Asthma UK fitted the bill perfectly, as it concerned both people we knew and members of our Guild.
Following a very interesting presentation by Rod Greenhalgh from Asthma UK, we held an event to raise funds for the charity.
Our fund raising event took the form of a garden visit with refreshments. We also sold plants. |

It went well despite the inclement weather and gave us the opportunity to raise funds for a worthy cause and was an enjoyable forum in which to talk to our many visitors.
