Holly's Brownie Holiday at Winmarleigh Hall (PGL)
Friday We set off at about 6.30pm and I was really excited about going on PGL but I thought I would miss my family. When we arrived we were put into groups mine was 'Nightingales' there were 5 of us from Holy Trinity and 5 from Northowram Brownies. Our PGL 'groupie' who looked after us was called Josh. |

Saturday First of all we did the trapeze. I went up and got stuck and the instructor Ross let me down. Then I tried again, I didn't stand on the top but I touched it and I think that is just as good. |

Next we did the team challenge and we pretended we were escaping from jail. I found it really fun. After that we did parallel bars and when I watched everybody it looked really easy but when it came to my turn I climbed up the ladder and then onto the tree but I fell off trying to get onto the bar. |

The last thing for that day we did quad bikes. This one was my favourite because it was really fun. First we had to listen to the safety rules then we got to try it out ourselves. I had quite good control then I totally lost it. After tea we had an ace campfire then a disco. Then we had to go to bed. |

Sunday Today was leaving day and I didn't want to leave since I had had so much fun but I still got up really early. First we did the climbing tower and I wanted to get to the top but I only made it half way. Next we did 'All Aboard' and I decided not to do it. Then we did zip wire and I didn't do that either but my friend Elisha did. The last thing we did was Survival skills and I cut my knee but we made a den and that was FUN! |
We all had a great time on our PGL Holiday.
