 Hebden Royd Senior Section ... help end child poverty with Barnardo's BIS |

Hebden Royd Senior Section held a Christmas fair at Mytholmroyd community centre to raise money for Barnardo's. We planned it through the Changing the World programme and had to come up with a business plan and then put it into action. We planned a Christmas craft fair and had to decide what what we wanted to happen on that day. |

We first decided to make our own crafts like cakes, crackers, tree decorations and stockings filled with treats. We organised games, raffles and a chocolate tombola. We also enrolled other professional crafts people to buy a table and set up their own stall - this idea brought in a lot of the money raised. Brownies & Guides were also involved as they had their own tombola and toy stall. |
The event was on 30th November 2009
it started at 11:00am and went on to 3:00pm.
We raised £388.32 for Barnardo's
