 1st Mytholmroyd Rainbows ... go asthma trigger happy with Asthma UK |
Our Rainbows chose Asthma UK as their Changing the World project.
Some of the girls suffer from asthma, others know people who do, so they understood the issue and were keen to get involved.
Seven members of the unit acted out the Mr Wolf story from the
Asthma UK resource pack.
One of the girls, Sophie Birch (the nurse in the photo), came up with the idea of putting on the play to raise awareness and funds.
We charged parents an entrance fee and the leaders donated buns to sell.
The girls all thoroughly enjoyed the play and the refreshments.

We raised £30 for Asthma UK.
