Who are Brownies?
A girl can join Brownies at any time after her seventh birthday and can move onto Guides after her tenth birthday, however if she wishes a girl may stay in Brownies until she is eleven.
What do Brownies do?
Brownies take part in indoor and outdoor activities that challenge them to do their best. The Brownie programme is centred around three themes:-
| You | Community | World |
Their meetings are action-packed and FULL of challenges, games and activities, usually ones that the Brownies have suggested themselves.
Brownies work in small groups called sixes. This gives each girl a group of ready- made friends to take care of her. They can either have a traditional name or be named after a woodland creature ...

The colours are predominately yellow and brown with a flash of pale blue.
Do Brownies make a Promise?
Yes they do. They have to learn their promise and their law:-
