Our WYW website is a new and very exciting venture for our county.
We are hoping to provide a site that is ….
… not only for our members but also for the general public.
We want to showcase the diverse range of opportunities that
Girlguiding West Yorkshire West offers girls, young women and adults.
We want to show how much FUN we all have!
To do this we need your help!
We need you to send us information that we can post on the site!
Interesting articles
About recent unit activities – camps, holidays, challenges achieved, badges gained, meetings in unusual places, community action you’ve undertaken ….
These will go into our ‘Archived News’ section.
The piece can be ‘short and sweet’ or ‘an informative account’.
As a minimum is should contain – Who? When? Where? Why?
Photos
To accompany News articles or purely as a selection to go in our ‘Gallery’.
PARENTAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PERMISSION should ALWAYS be obtained by Unit Guiders for all girls appearing in photos sent to us.
Please send original images – our team will take care of cropping & enhancing.
If e-mailing through then please send no than 4 photos attached to any one mail.
Photos sent on a CD are also acceptable.
Again we need a brief resume with the photos – Who? When? Where? Why?
NB We will not require girls individual names unless you think it is specifically appropriate e.g. ‘Mary Smith of XZY Unit receiving her Baden Powell Award’.
