WYW Annual Review
Our Annual Review meeting was held at St Michael's Church Hall, Mytholmroyd on 8th October 2009 at 7.30pm.
The agenda included:-

Reported that the county was in 'good health' financially. |

ICE - 'International Community Experience'. The girls gave an informative account of how they had been selected for the next ICE event in Belfast, October 2009. |

The Luddenden Guides gave a very lively and amusing account of the wonderful time they had experienced at the Windsor camp in the summer. To read their story click here. |

Stated that everyone had had a very busy year! Our annual report had been transformed into a modern colourful newsletter format and along with the website News and Division pages reflected the vast array of events and activities that girls and adults had taken part in. |
| Guest Speaker | Dr Paul Whittaker OBE Artistic Director Music and the Deaf |
Paul told of his personal journey in becoming a musician and of his work with Music and the Deaf. He kept everyone entertained with his amusing anecdotes and the audience enthusiastically joined in his lively 'signed' rendition of 'My dog is a good dog'. Sites you might like to visit:- |
| Vote of Thanks | June Perrin | June gave the vote of thanks and said that 'Paul had opened up a whole new musical world to her and that she was sure everyone had a wonderful evening listening to him!' |
