Halifax South Division Commissioner
My name is Tracey Bottomley and I am the Division Commissioner for Halifax South |

I started my Girlguiding journey at the age of 7 when I joined Brownies and have been involved on and off since.
I joined Guides at the age of 10, then left at 14 to become a Venture Scout.
I became a Guide Guider at the age of 20 and am now a Rainbow Guider in Kingston district.
I have also been Division Young Leader Adviser and a District Commissioner.
I have recently thoroughly enjoyed being involved in training other guiders in our county on the new GO! online system, so much so that I have started my trainers licence.
I am also part of the CRB completion & website editing team for the county.

I do all this as well as being married (to a VERY understanding husband), ferrying around two girls who are both involved in guiding and are very sporty and I also work full time.
I was appointed Halifax South Division Commissioner in May 2009 and am looking forward to see the new challenges this will bring.
