Rainbow Adviser
Hi my name is Lesley Holdsworth, I am the County Rainbow Adviser.
I joined the guiding movement as a Brownie, that’s 43years, oops now you know how old I am.

I have been a leader for 30 yrs and have worn many different hats within Rastrick (my District), the Brighouse & Elland Division, our County and NEE Region. My first roles were as a Guide Leader and Ranger Leader before becoming a Rainbow Leader in 1989. I have also been District Assistant and Commisioner, Division Rep for Programme & Training, a Mentor and I am now a Trainer.
I thoroughly enjoy everything in guiding, the fun, experiences and the fellowship and especially seeing young girls grow and develop into good and responsible citizens.
I am now seeing the children of parents who were my Guides come to Rainbows, this gives you a special buzz, knowing that women experienced something good within guiding and want their children to have that same experience.
