County Commissioner
Hello My name is Angela Trowell and with effect from 1st May 2009 I became the County Commissioner for West Yorkshire West. |
I am married to Edwin who is an associate member of Girlguiding and has always supported me in all my Guiding activities.
My guiding life started at the age of seven when I attended Brownies at the Methodist Church, Washer Lane, Halifax - and after a long, eventful and happy journey look where it has got me!!
In the past I have been District Commissioner for Hebden Royd and Division Commissioner for the Calder Valley and before taking on the role of County Commissioner I was the Chair for Programme and Training.
I am also the Secretary for Todmorden Gang Show and love taking part in the shows with the Gang!
The best part of my week is Wednesday evenings when I go to Brownies which I run with Alison in Mytholmroyd. The Brownie in me is still very evident as anything the Brownies do - and they do some mighty things - then I am in there with them.
Apart from art and crafts when the Brownies all say 'Let Tawny Owl do that'.
I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you, in your units, at events, camp and Brownie holidays and most of all joining in your fun!
Yours in Guiding
Angela
