Hi My name is Mary Rumble & I have recently been appointed as Commissioner for Brighouse & Elland Division |

The Division covers the areas of Lightcliffe, Clifton, Brighouse, Rastrick, Elland, West Vale, Holywell Green and Stainland.We are lucky to have Bradley Wood Scout Camp in Rastrick where some of our units meet to do activities, especially during the summer months.
There are Rainbow, Brownie, Guide & Senior Section units & a Trefoil Guild in our Division.
We are always looking for leaders and would love to hear from anyone who would like to help girls in our Division have fun, get out & about, learn new skills and many other things.

We held a Medieval Day at Bradley Wood in November 2008. The Brownies really enjoyed themselves doing activities such as skateboard jousting, jestering, medieval games. They even built a castle out of recycled materials. The Myrtle Marsden Trophy was won by 1st Clifton Brownies. Thanks to Alice Jordan for organising the fantastic day |

We were really proud when Alison, our County Commissioner, presented Baden Powell Awards to girls from our Division at the Christmas Carol Concert. We also raised £250 for the Forget Me Not Trust at the concert. |

Over the next few months we will be working with Elland District Partnership to create a nature adventure ground.
